Moving State Tourney ??

Why move the State Tourney ? If you move it what about the snowbirds that won't be here ? What about the greater chances of bad weather ?
What about the national tournaments ?

Totally agree.
Changing dates means 2 rosters per calendar year.
Spread the word and vote against changing date.

Moving it to Sept may not be a bad thing. 1) New players get to start or move up 3 months early. 2) Would end before most National championships start SPA, SSUSA, etc. So if the plan is to simply shift the season to run Oct-Aug with State in Sept? Then it's a one time adjustment and I think I am in favor of this change.

It seems like the Managers have spoken about keeping the STATES in December, BUT the BOARD wants to move it. All of the Chairmans notes have been slanted to move it and seems like he will keep on trying until he gets his way.
